So why do Christians believe in it?-This can say that Death can be Defeated, and that the Goodness of himself defeated the Evil Sin -So believing in it can show that Humans can receive Forgiveness for their Sin, and can get close with God to enjoy Eternal Life -Can also show how God accepted his Sacrifice as Atonement.
What does Atonement mean?-Simply means to Restore the Relationship with God and the People through the Life, death and Resurrection of Jesus -Pretty much Removes the Sin
