level questions: Pyramids of Biomass and Number

QuestionAnswer
What does a Pyramid of Biomass show?-This simply shows the Mass of the Living Material at that Stage on the Food Chain
Example: Rosebush --> Caterpillars --> Bird 2000g ---> 80g ---> 20g -Describe how the Pyramid of Biomass would look like-The Rosebush, would start at the Bottom, because its the Producer [Bottom of the Food Chain] and, it would be the Longest, because it Weighs the Most -The Caterpillar would be in the Middle, Primary Consumer, and it would be the Second Longest -The Bird would be in the top, Secondary Consumer, and it would be the Shortest
Why could it be difficult to make an Accurate Biomass Pyramid sometimes?-Some Organisms can feed off more than one Trophic Levels, so it would mess it up really
What does a Pyramid of Number show?-This simply shows the Number of the Living Organisms at the Stage of the Food Chain
Example: 1 Rosebush --> 20 Caterpillars --> 1 Bird -Describe how the Pyramid of Number would look like-The Rosebush would start at the Bottom, Producer, and it would be Very Short, because there is only 1 of it -The Caterpillars would be at the Middle, Primary Consumer, and it would be the Longest, cause it has the Most of it [20] -The Bird would be at the top, Secondary Consumer, and it would be Identical Length to the Rosebush, because there is only 1 of it
