Why did Stratford need to be Regenerated?-Stratford contained very High Levels of Deprivation along with having lots of Poverty Levels. Environmental Quality was Poor, and so was the Health of the Populace. -Also, Investment was very Poor and the Industry was Closing Down, meaning Jobs was going Down -So this meant Regenerating the Place means more People can Work, GCSE Performances can Increase meaning better Educations, Lots of Brownfields sites that could be used for Building and that had it Good Potential for Transportation
So what happened to Stratford?-Using the 2012 Olympics, to Catalyse Effects, Stratford had: 1. Better Infrastructure - New high speed Trains 2. Affordable Housing: Around 10,000 Homes made by 2030 3. Employment: 20,000 Jobs to be seen by 2030 4. Economy: Around 9 Billion Pounds Invested due to Stratford and had 8.5 Million Visitors. This meant more Money to be used [Multiplier Effect] 5. Environment: Contaminated Land and Brownfields Sites was Renovated to Habitats and Parks. Homes to be Water Efficient Designed.
