Dashboard not snapping to the top after redirect

When returning to the Dashboard after having scrolled any other section, the top of the page is not loaded by default, instead, the approximate location of the previous page is shown.
For example, if you scroll to the website footer while in the Courses section and then click on Dashboard, instead of seeing the top of the Dashboard section you will see the website footer. As far as I can tell, this only happens for the Dashboard section.
