level questions: Visible Light and Colour

QuestionAnswer
What can Determine the Colour of Objects?-It simply depends on which Colour is Reflected Back.
What really is White Light?-This is simply a Mixture of All the Colours, itself has Different Wavelengths
What Colours can not be Mixed together?-It simply only the Primary Colours, which is Blue, Red and Green
A Yellow Banana may have What Colours Reflected?-It can simply only be a Yellow Light being Reflected, or Red and Green light being Reflected back [They Mix]
If an Object is White, what does that mean in terms of Colour and Reflection?-This means all the Wavelengths of White Light are Reflected
If an Object is Black, what does that mean in terms of Colour and Reflection?-This means all the Wavelengths are Absorbed, so pretty much Black is just Lack of Visible Light
What happens with Transparent Objects in terms of Colour and Reflection? [Shine Light at it]-They can Mostly Transmit the Light, but can also Absorb Certain Wavelengths of Light, Tinting the Transparent Object. -So the Light that is mostly Transmitted gives the Colour to us
What are Colour Filters used for?-They are simply used to Filter Different Wavelengths of Light, meaning a Certain Colour/s can be Let Through [Transmitted]
What happens if Bob has a Blue Filter, and looks at a: 1. A Blue Case 2. a Red Hat1. Since a Blue Filter allows the Blue Wavelength, and the Case is Blue, This means the Case will still be Blue because its still allowing the Reflected Blue to hit the Eyes 2. For the Red Hat, the Reflected Red Wavelength would be Blocked [Absorbed] by the Filter, making it look Black [As no Light can Penetrate the Filter]
