What's wrong with this seat design?Design doesn't account for >95% male. Designers need to look at user demographic.
Why are there no seatbelts on trains?Restraints reduce the surface area of imapct so increases the stress on a localised area, so increases risk of injury. A lack of restraint allows the force to be spread over a larger area.  Also adding seatbelts means seats need to be stiffened, so increases cost.
