What is a weakness of a structed interview?Increased risk of investigator bias, unconsiouly using a biased tone or body language.
What is a unstructed interview?Where the interview is conducted more like a converstation, focused on a discussion rather than asking set questions.
What is a stregnth of a unstructured interview?Less chance of demand characteristics and investigator bias.
What is a weakness of a unstructured interview?Difficult to analyse qualitative data, time consuming and expensive.
What is filler questions in a questionnaire?Questions which have nothing to do with the aims of the investigation and are put in to distract the participant from guessing the real aim of the study. No demand characteristics.
