Answer
They oversee the entire operation of organizations and develop strategies to help them meet their goals. They collaborate with other executives, and may need to adhere to guidance from a board of directors with regard to major decisions affecting the future of the company. Their daily work may involve appointing and dismissing important personnel, negotiating major deals and contracts, and meeting with other executives to monitor the business of the organization.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
This person looks after personnel, supervising the hiring and firing of employees, and promoting their welfare and role within the company. HR directors may supervise several smaller departments in a large company, such as recruitment, benefits and training. Within human resources, other job titles include employment interviewers and job analysts who prepare job descriptions and define employee roles.
Human Resources Director
He/she typically works on a freelance basis, giving advice to other individuals and companies about their areas of expertise. They must have at least several years successful experience in a field, such as management, education or design, but must also keep up-to-date with the latest developments. Companies that pay to collaborate with consultants expect proven strategies that will bring them business and financial success. Consultants typically meet regularly with clients to analyze the company's performance, discuss needs and formulate plans for future development.
Consultant
This person covers the day-to-day running of a business. While CEOs, other executives and a board of directors make decisions, administrative assistants typically do the legwork to carry out their vision. Their duties often include filing paperwork, making phone calls, organizing meetings, preparing documents, and other jobs essential to getting tasks done and implementing decisions.
Administrative Assistant
They represent an organization, selling products and services on its behalf. Travel agents sell vacation packages on behalf of large companies; insurance agents work from an office or go door-to-door; and real estate agents deal with property, from advertising through sale. These professionals don't own the products or services they represent, but sell them in return for a flat fee or commission. Sales agents need a winsome personality, as they must often convince potential buyers to part with large sums of money. They also must have incredible self-motivation and ambition, as their pay usually depends on performance.
Sales Agent
They are in charge of growing organic tissue. This is a recent job that intends to design the newly created organs for patients. If this medical technique advances in the way many people expect it to, it is reasonable to expect that someday, replacing a malfunctioning kidney with a freshly manufactured one will be commonplace.
Custom Implant Organ Designer
These are people with the ability to manipulate matter at the molecular level. This technology is expected to grow in the future, as gadgets continue to move in the direction of miniaturization and portability. Those looking for jobs in this field should study organic chemistry, molecular biology and microfabrication.
Nanotechnologist
This type of research has been controversial since its inception. However, the scientific community has continued its work in this field, as research into stem cell treatments for Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and spinal cord injuries has yielded results too hopeful to ignore. It is expected to be a growing scientific field for the foreseeable future, and it is expected to evolve in the coming decades. This means there will be an ongoing need for researchers and, assuming this technology becomes commonplace, the need should continue to grow.
Stem Cell Researcher
Therapists “assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders,” according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (2012). They treat breathing complications, from the common cold on up, and it’s safe to assume the position will exist for as long as people continue to have lungs. Especially in this pandemic, these therapists have had a big impact on COVID patients.
Respiratory Therapist
Absent some radical change in human behavior, people are likely to keep generating garbage for the foreseeable future. In addition to the usual assortment of banana peels and candy bar wrappers, humans are likely to generate increasing amounts of waste from electronic equipment, commonly known as “e-waste.” Consultants with biology or chemistry backgrounds may find work in developing countries where the unregulated disposal of e-waste can cause pollution, or in developed countries where workers disposing of these materials need protection from its risks.
