Made of 4-20 cylindrical bony lamellae concentrically arranged around Haversian canal containing blood capillaries, amyelinated nerve and bile capillary embedded in loose CT, collagen fibers are arranged parallel to each other within the same lamella, but in varying directions amongst different lamellae. Osteoplasts contain osteocytes.
