Is a simple tissue found in all plants, can be primary or secondary, consisting of parenchyma cells with various functions and shapes containing well-developed vacuoles, various types of parenchyma have in common usually a thin primary cell wall with intercellular space, parenchyma cells are living cells, at maturity and are capable of mitotic division which is important for plant repair, according to the function we have many types. Also found as a part of conductive tissues
