For first few days, breasts secrete a yellow watery fluid called colostrum on which baby feeds. Colostrum is rich in protein and contains antibodies to protect baby from diseases. After about three days, the milk is produced. At first, the baby feeds 10 to 12 times a day. The more the baby feeds , the more milk is produced.
