Question:

In Bronfenbrenner's model, what is the microsystem?

Author: Ahmad Danial

Answer:

The microsystem, the innermost level, is composed of the PEOPLE and ACTIVITIES in our immediate surroundings, such as family, peers, neighbourhood, and school. For example, your parents probably expected you to do your homework, accept responsibility and follow through with your promises. These expectations were all part of the environmental influence on your development.
