Answer:

Baroreceptors are stretch receptors located in the carotid sinus and the aortic arch. Increased baroreceptors stretch (via increased pressure) increases nerve firing. Increased Pressure = decreased HR and vasodilation. Decreased Pressure= increased HR and vasoconstriction.
