Created a constitution of limited constitutional monarchy. had the power to create laws and to approve or reject declarations of war. However, the king still held the executive power to enforce laws. Split into 3 sections: Radicals(left) :opposed the idea of a monarchy and wanted drastic changes in the way the government was run. Moderates(center ): wanted some changes in government, but not as many as the radicals. Conservatives(right): They upheld the idea of a limited monarchy and wanted few changes in government.
