Question:

How can you Separate the Crude Oil?

Author: go kys

Answer:

-This can be done by Fractional Distillation -The oil is Heated, turning it in a Cluster Gas that will then enter the Fractionating Column -Then there is a Temperature Gradient that pretty much gets Cooler at the Top Part -Larger Hydrocarbons have Bigger Boling Points meaning they will turn into Liquids and drain out of the Fractional Column EARILER -Smaller Hydrocarbons have Lower Boiling Points meaning they will go Higher up the Column and Liquify later on -This then gives you a Mixture, that's in Different Fractions
