Pellagra: 4 "D's": •A symmetrical scaly rash occurs only on skin exposed to the sun. •Skin is dry scaly and cracked. • In acute stages, pellagra resembles severe sunburn; in later stages, affected areas become darkly pigmented. Lesions occur in the same places on both sides of the body.
