Succession in biology refers to the gradual and predictable process of change in the species composition and community structure of an ecosystem over time. Early pioneers - good colonizers but inferior competitors Late arrivals - bad colonisers but good competetors. Yoy basicly know when they are settling that the early pioneers will start of strong but then the late arivals with come and compete
