- An inter-regional appelation located in the Eastern Plains District sub-region of Veneto and the western Central Plains of Friuli Venezia Giulia - Wines are at least 85% Glera - Can be still, frizzante or spumante, but nearly all tank-method spumante - Sweetness levels vary from Demi-Sec to Brut - Most popular styles are Extra Dry and Brut - Wines from Treviso or Trieste may be labeled as Prosecco Treviso DOC or Prosecco Trieste DOC, respectively
