Answer:

1) Clamp your gas syringe to your clamp standing using your clamp and boss. 2) Measure 50ml if 1 mol/dm³ and pour it into the conical flask. 3) Add in a magnesium ribbon and start the timer, measuring how much gas is produced every 30 seconds for 5 minutes. 4) Repeat the experiment with 50ml of 0.5 mol/dm³ hydrochloric acid instead and compare the results.
