Question:

Types schizonticides

Author: Suzuki

Answer:

Primary tissue schizonticides (eg, primaquine) kill schizonts in the liver, whereas blood schizonticides (eg, chloroquine, artemisinins, quinine) kill these forms only in the erythrocyte. Sporonticides (proguanil, pyrimethamine) prevent sporogony and multiplication in the mosquito.
