Question:

How can you find out that a Substance may be a Catalyst for a Reaction? What do you have to do for this Test?

Author: go kys

Answer:

-Simply react the Solutions without the Substance, and measure the Rate of Reaction -Then include the Substance in, and make sure you know the Mass of it as well -If the Rate increases And the Solid hasn't been Affected [Filter the Solid and then Measure it], it may be a Catalyst -Making it a Fair Test needs the Volumes and Concentration of the Solutions to be Recorded, as well as the Temperature
