Question:

How can: 1. Regulating Movement of Plant Material 2. Destroying the Infected Plants 3. Crop Rotation 4. Chemical Control 5. Biological Control Lower the Chances of Disease?

Author: go kys

Answer:

1. One way that Pathogens Spread is by Contact. If you can Control the Infected Plants Movement, it can't Spread its Disease 2. Destroying them means no more Hub of Disease 3. Pathogens, usually, are Specific to a Plant. If you change the Crop, then that Pathogen will not be Established 4. Fungicides can kill Pathogens that have Fungi Involved. Pesticides can remove Pests that Insert the Disease in 5. Crown Gall Disease can be Stopped from Dipping the Plant's Roots into a Suspension of a Similar Bacterium, then Planted in the Infected Soil. Seems Stupid, but that Bacteria gives it Immunity [Antibodies]
