Why did the romans invade britain?

Author: Serena Ewane

Answer:

The romans invaded england because england would have to pay tax as a province in rome which make rome richer. this would also help feed the romans back home. the invasion would also provide slaves for the richer romans back home. invading a country back then was basically guaranteed fame. they also invaded bc england had many silver mines and food for the romans.
