Question:

Antagonistic muscles are pairs of muscles that work against each other. One muscle contracts while the other relaxes. They are attached to bones with tendons. This allows them to pull on the bone, which then acts like a lever. One muscle pulls the bone in one direction and the other pulls in the opposite direction, causing movement at the joint . The bicep and triceps muscles in the arm are examples of Antagonistic muscles.
