What Evidence is there for the Universe to be Expanding? Start from the Beginning

-Note that Different Elements will Absorb Different Frequencies of VL -And each Element will make its own Specific Pattern of Lines that it Absorbs in the Visible Part of the Spectrum -Light from other Galaxies have the Same Pattern, but at Lower Frequencies. This is called Red-Shift as the Lines are moving Towards the Red End of the Spectrum -And Red Shift Measurements tells us that All the Distant Galaxies are moving AWAY from us Rapidly. Further Galaxies = Greater Red Shift. -So Further away Galaxies are moving Faster from the Nearest Ones, giving Evidence that the Universe is Expanding
